This week our principal visited. Pat Manning, he is the principal of Chignik Lagoon, Port Heiden, and Pilot Point. We had the monthly LSAC. Which is a meeting in which members of the community, teachers, and our principal meet and discuss different things about our school.
Lately we have been reading the book To Kill a Mocking Bird. I think it is a very good book. We are using it to better understand the Civil Rights Movement that we are studying for social studies.
We are also taking our practice SBAs. There is reading, writing, math, and only some grades take the science test. Next week will be a review and then the week after that will be the actual state testing. Testing will take place all day.
