Volleyball and Student Government

This week, after I got back from Dillingham, we had our Student Government elections. I was voted President; Zack McCormick is Vice President; Tyler McCormick is Treasurer, and Erin Pedersen and Anna Jones are Secretary.

We plan on having a meeting this afternoon and a fundraiser tomorrow. The fundraiser will be a Rubber Ducky Race. People will be buying their ducks and we will race them down Packers Creek tomorrow at 2:30. We will also be having a picnic after the race. The winner gets $50.

We started Volleyball practice yesterday and I think it went pretty ok. The first Jamboree will be in Port Heiden for the South schools and in Levelock for the North schools. Both Jamborees will be the 26^th of October through the 28^th. Then all the schools come together at the District Tourney, which will be at Newhalen this year from the 17^th through the 19^th.
